Wow, that topic and speaker list is quite impressive. There is some good learning to be had right there. I really need to figure out how to watch that on my big Television. It’s times like this that I feel so much like Fred Flintstone. I feel somewhere around 1982 the planet just took off and left me standing with a #2 pencil and my Grandad’s Corona Typewriter and now I am struggling to climb back on a the damn thing in a pair of wet flip flop shower shoes. Great heads up, with maybe enough time to get connected to it.

Yes, I liked the interesting descriptions and range of topics. Should be fun. Hope you figure out how to get it on your TV! Sign up. I think they may be a limited number or time on the “free” tickets.

Email update I received today from the organizers on the upcoming Expo:

We have a short update on the QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo scheduled for August 8-9, 2020 .

The best way to experience our virtual Expo is to do a bit of upfront planning . At a virtual Expo (unlike an in-person one), you don’t need to spend the entire time at the event. Instead, plan your time around speakers of interest and then supplement with visits to the Exhibits. To help you, we’ve just published a complete schedule of speakers, topics, and time slots – see:

https://www.qsotodayhamexpo.com/speakers.html

We suggest that you place on your calendar now all speakers of interest. Each scheduled session consists of the speaker’s presentation followed by live Q&A. If you find overlapping speakers of interest, attend one of them at the designated time and then later attend the others - all are available “on-demand” after each presentation and for 30 days after the Expo.

Please spend time at the Exhibit hall before and after the speaker sessions. There are 45 booths where you can see the latest ham technology from the world’s top companies. Every exhibitor booth has a communications system to do voice, video, or text chat with the booth representatives. Be sure to stop by our Sponsor’s booths - Icom is our Platinum Sponsor, along with Gold Sponsors Elecraft, GigaParts, RT Systems, FlexRadio, RFinder, DX Engineering, RigExpert, and NCG Company (Diamond Antenna).

We’ve put up Expo times in Zulu, PST, and EST – just go to https://www.qsotodayhamexpo.com/# .

Finally, come and compete in our exciting Expo game, Leader Board , to win from a pool of thousands of dollars in ham radio equipment and swag donated by Sponsors. Prizes include a FlexRadio 6400 HF Transceiver, Elecraft KX2 HF QRP Transceiver, and an Icom IC-7300A. Learn more about how win at: https://www.qsotodayhamexpo.com/prizes.html

We are excited that you will join us to make history with our first virtual Expo. The ham radio fraternity has seen many changes over the last 100+ years and this event will certainly be part of our amazing history.

Meet you at the Expo!
